Camping With Recycle Bags
As the use of recycle bags has increased in recent years so has their uses. From packing mall purchases to substituting as a gym bag, reusable mesh bags boast seemingly endless uses. The following are a few examples of how you can use recycle bags at the campsite.
Laundry
No matter who you are, if you go camping you will end up packing home plenty of dirty laundry. This is especially true for parents who haul their children to the great outdoors on the weekends. Recycle bags, especially those made of mesh and are breathable, can be used to sort and store dirty laundry. The more breathable the bag, the better, as this factor helps to reduce the growth of mildew. When you get home, throw the bag in with the rest of laundry so it is clean the next time it is needed.
Groceries
If you have been using recycle bags for some time now, there probably aren’t a lot of extra plastic bags lying around the house. Utilize your reusable bags to pack your dry goods. This will prevent you from accidentally leaving plastic bags at Mother Nature’s playground and protect any wild animals that might be inclined to ingest the toxic material.
Keep Them Cold
For those boaters and river floaters who like to enjoy a cold one while chilling on the water, fill a strong, mesh reusable grocery bag with your favorite drinks and submerge them alongside the boat or raft. This same method can be used to pack the catch of the day.
Trash
For the trash that doesn’t end up in the campfire, use recycle bags to pack out leftover wrappers, cans, and papers.
